Τίτλος: "Να ζωντανέψουμε τα παιχνίδια μας;"
Η Λίλια Χατζηγεωργίου γεννήθηκε στην Λευκωσία της Κύπρου το 1986.
Το 2005-2010 Σπούδασε ζωγραφική στην Ανωτάτη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών Αθήνας με καθηγητή τον Αναστάσιο Χριστάκη και αποφοίτησε με άριστα.
Κατα την διάρκεια των σπουδών της παρακολούθησε μαθήματα γλυπτικής με καθηγητή τον Νίκο Τρανό.Επίσης παρακολούθησε μαθήματα χαρακτικής και φωτογραφίας,με καθηγητές τους Βίκυ Τσαλαματά και Μανώλη Μπαμπούση αντίστοιχα καθώς και το μάθημα Διδακτική της Τέχνης και Ψυχολογία της εκπαίδευσης.
Το 2009 με υποτροφία ERASMUS του Ιδρύματος Κρατικών Υποτροφιών(ΙΚΥ) παρακολούθησε για ένα εξάμηνο, το μεταπτυχιακό του τμήματος Art Plastique στο Παρίσι,στο Universite Paris 8.
Το 2004 φοίτησε για ένα ακαδημαικό έτος στο τμήμα Ψυχολογίας της Φιλοσοφικής Σχολής Αθηνών με υποτροφία του Ιδρύματος Κρατικών Υποτροφιών Κύπρου (ΙΚΥΚ).
Απο το 2011 φοιτά στην Ανωτέρα δραματική σχολή του Νέου Ελληνικού Θεάτρου του Γιώργου Αρμένη στην Αθήνα.

Τα μηχανoκίνητα γλυπτά-κατασκευες με τα οποία ασχολούμαι έχουν έντονο το στοιχείο της παιδικότητας και του αυτοσχέδιου τόσο ως προς την κατασκευαστική διαδικασία όσο και ως προς το αποτέλεσμα.Πρόκειται στην ουσία για έναν ''αναγραμματισμό'' μελών,μηχανισμών,ήχων και υλικών απο διάφορα παιχνίδια (ζώα και κούκλες) τα οποία συλλέγω κυρίως απο υπαίθριες αγορές και τα ανασυνθέτω έτσι ώστε να ''αναγεννηθούν'' με την μορφή παράδοξων,υβριδικών πλασμάτων τα οποία κινούνται δημιουργώντας έναν καινούριο περιβάλλοντα χώρο και προσπαθώντας (μάταια συχνά) να εποκοινωνήσουν με ''το κοινό τους''.
Υλικά :Κούκλες και ζώα με μηχανισμό και κατά προτίμηση θα μπορούσαν να φέρουν και τα παιδιά κάποια παλιά παιχνίδια που έχουν χαλάσει ή δεν θέλουν πιά.

The motorized
(machine-like) sculptures/structures which I deal with in my recent work,
incorporate a strong element of childishness and improvisation both in the way
they are constructed and in the way they appear. In fact, they appear to be an
anagram of various parts, motors, sounds and materials found in a variety of
toys (animals and dolls) which I mainly accumulate from flea markets. The way I
recompose them, "regenerates'' a new kind of paradoxical, hybrid creatures
that are constantly moving redefining in this way the surrounding space and
trying (often in vain) to communicate with ''their audience''.
Materials/
resources needed:
Dolls and
animal-toys with motors (either purchased from a shop, eg.Jumbo, or at a flea
market)
kids could
also bring their own toys that are broken or that they no longer want
Number of children
Around 5 to 7
children because the process is a bit complicated and time-consuming.

Lilia Hadjigeorgiou was born in
Nicosia, Cyprus in 1986.
From 2005 to 2010 she
studied painting at Athens School of
Fine Arts under the supervision of T. Christakis from where she graduated with
distinction.
During her studies she followed
sculpture courses under the supervision of N.Tranos. Also printmaking and
photography courses under the supervision of Biki Tsalamata and Manolis
Babousis respectively. She also followed the courses : Art in Education and
Psychology of Education.
In 2009, under a scholarship from
the National Scholarship Foundation she attended for one academic semester the
MA programme in Fine Arts at the University Paris8 in Paris, France.
In 2004 she attended for one academic year the BA in
Psychology at Athens Philosophy Department under a scholarship from the Cyprus
National scholarship foundation.
Since 2011, she studies in Superior School of Dramatic Art "New Greek Theatre" of George Armenis in Athens.
